Outside air temp sensor MK2 GTI

Does any one know the location of the outside air temp sensor on a MK2 Golf GTI (1990) as viewed on the MFA ?

behind the bumper on the drivers guard from memory yep driverside

Thanks for your help peoples, I found my sensor to be on the passenger side (LHS). My car is a RHD vehicle. It plugs into the LHS fender. Didnt seem to be disconnected anyway, I'm wondering why my MFA was reading -1, -2 deg :roll:
