    OEM braking options

Hey guys just seeing what the Oem options for braking on a mk2 are,

I know that g60 Girlings are great but not really available here, I have a set of mk3 2.0 hubs so its ok i can pretty much run most things, I guess im looking for a budget set up which has a fair bit of stopping power. Using an after market set would be great but expensive! Originally I was going to get some Wilwoods but the budget is tight so hmmm.

I have a 22mm MS so thats a start maybe some early vr6 calipers ( are they 2 pots?). any ideas? Seat or Audi ideas are also a possibility as long as they fit!

    cheers

Mate. The easies option for you is the Mk3 2L Hubs that you have.

Early 280mm VR6 Calipers bolt straight to those and then you can run a 280mm SEAT Cupra Disk and keep the 4 stud wheels.

I buy the disks locally for $160ish a set brand new.

i'd think vr6 calipers/discs would be suitable to 20v application if they make about the same stock hp.
