Hate to see all that work get taken off the road for not being certified.

Thats the easy part! Its allready fully engineer certified for all the previous mods with noise, emisions, speedo calibration etc. And i know the engineer well enough to get the certificate updated with minimal charge, no dramas

Got a chance to make an aluminium air box today, features a 3" to 4" bellmouth to the stainless steel air filter. A short length of 3" silicon hose will join it to the turbo and cut out in the top will have a clear lexen top to ensure cooler air enters from behind the grill. Will polish it up shortly and manufacture a mounting system for the filter.

Thought i would add this just for interest sake. I manufactured a set of stainless steel extractors for a mates seirra with a swift gti 1.3l 16v engine and a toyota supercharger.

Cheers Wabit, I dont have any better pics of it at the moment as both engines are out and in the process of rebuilding them with forged internals and doing draw through webber turbo setups. My wife would love me to sell this car she beleives it is a death trap and wont get in it again... G'tech 0-100 4.7 secs should be faster still with turbo setups tuned. I would like to get it back together and show it at the nats, then it will be up for sale!

Wives don't even like single-engined turbo mk1's, you have no hope of getting that one approved I like your work on the mk2, completely out of the norm ideas, its refreshing to see. You should have next to no lag with that setup.

Finished "blinging" the water to air intercooler, i was going to make a small tank for the coolant but it isn't needed due to the volume of fluid the core can hold along with the two heat exchangers im using, so i screw cut a cap tigged it in the top.
