    Ok so the Golf rolled down the hill and was stopped by the house

    What's under the bonnet, sounded pretty good

    Yes and yes! Its a 16v KR motor
    I've started to pull it apart and getting some bits sorted, the seats and headlining are away. I am going to have a crack at the door cards the drivers side is stuffed.

    By the way the zender kit is not going back on, the rear valance has had it and the front one has never been there

    Ouch, not meaning to be rude but it actually looked like it needed some attention..

    its a 2d 16v..... I would go oak green!
    8v Ibiza GTI > 8v mk2 Golf GTI > mk3 VR6 > 8v Ibiza GTI > 2D CL+vr6...

    Colour Change??

    yer it did need some loving, the plan was to save some cash and then do some, a bit at a time, and oak green is a great colour very popular in the UK

    I want that as my workshop space. Ever considered rat look? Save a bit of cash on the paint job up front and in the meantime concentrate on the metal work... A job in progress at whatever stage always looks cool if it shows a job well done...
