Sold the old seats with engine as a package. Needed to cut and re-weld one of the runners on each side as the mk2 is slightly narrower. It wasn't actually that hard but you do need two people to get it done easily. The rear bench was relatively bolt in but to get the the seats to fold we had to weld a mk3 centre bracket in and modify the pegs and parcel tray (the plastic sides) so they would clip in upright.
If I had to do it again I'd use mk3 recaros and re-trim. The seats were from a 3dr VR so fold forward etc.
