change it back to 4x100 stud pattern and use the bbs wheels.
You could do that and sell the 5 stud conversion kit. You should change the whole front legs if you are going this route and the rear disks etc. That will fix a few of the probs above too.
Unrelated to the RWC, i want to know why my 2nd gear ALWAYS grinds when i slap it from 1st to 2nd quickly, it did it on the red one aswell and its only in 2nd. keep in mind the box has been rebuilt. Is it just what they do or is they syncro no good?
Its a linkage issue usually, which can also be caused by engine mounts being worn, causing the gearbox to move, when you need it steady to change. Prolonged linkages not being adjusted causes wear in the boxes.
Just dont slap it into 2nd and you will be fine.
Better get to work mate, should be a good Mk2 when you are done tho.
