Think I'd better add some of you "done" list to my "to do" list.
Must drive much better with the new gear linkages?

yeah gearbox feels sooo much nicer.

it idles really weird too, thats something i want to fix. it like seems to like slightly go up and down in revs, is that just something about the tuning?

Swinging at idle is usually the idle stab valve full of oil residue and generally gummed up.

If you remove it and fill it with degreaser, then clean it out with brake cleaner after letting it sit for a while. I bet it runs nicer. If not you might have an air leak somewhere.

You should also clean the tickover adjuster on the throttle body. The bypass port will be full of the same gunk as the ISV. I always polished the screw with brasso or metal polish. They stay clean for ages if you do. Check the condition of the O ring on the screw. I used to see loads of split ones back in the UK.

Look up 'Digifant timing adjustment' in google. To set the timing you need to disconnect the water temp sender and rev the engine 3 times or something IIRC. Then set the timing with your strobe light.

What colour code is it? I have some detextured front/rear/skirts/flares for sale. Could do with a respray, but at least you can get black with black and not have it fade on you.
