I reckon, just to be different, 15/16's are best for a MK2. 17's are just too big and i'm guessing will only ruin the handling & slow it down.

As for the 5 stud conversion, I wouldn't bother, the brakes are good enough for the car because its not exactly powerful and its quite light, plus its a nightmare finding rims in 5x100 fitment.

Either way all you need is a bit of a drop in ride height, a bit of a polish, blacken the black bits and some nice wheels and shazam a cool MK2!

Go OEM+ dude.

As in make it stop and go better but yeah use OEM parts.

There ain't enough of these left to **** about with.
