It sounds like metal on metal, so I'm leaning towards bushes. Anyone know where to get them from and how hard are they to change?

    Update:
Bought a VRS set from Tooley Imports. Great price. I hope it's the right one. Anyone know if an EV is the same as a GU/GX?

Fixed the squeak: Exhaust rubbing on something. Now I have to adjust the muffler to stop knocking on the rear valance.

Changed the plugs, All were black and smelt of fuel.

How hard is it to do the intake gasket on an 8v Kjet.

Need to tune the Kjet as well!

    It's getting there!

tricky cause of where it's placed, but a long allen key and maybe some extension bar should take care of it! pretty straight forward!

Thanks. Is it a specific size? It sounds like it's flooding. Low on power but a real bad unburnt fuel smell out the rear.

IIRC it's a 6mm, but could be wrong. Due to the big curve of the manifold, I'm pretty sure access is pretty good

I'm guessing you attack it from underneath? What's the gasket? Is it the odd 5 hole shaped one or do I have the wrong set?

Engine number is EV022000. Anyone have an earlier engine than this?

Going to attempt the intake manifold today once it cools down abit!

I have a diff oil smell, Where is the filler on these?
Also, my clutch point is very high. Is this a sign of my clutch going south? Could it be the reason I have no power (When I change gears the revs peak, then settle on upshifts but are normal on down shifts.)

Noticed today that it's damn hot on the Harbour Bridge at 1100am and 40c with bugger all breeze! Need to look at A/C if this weather stays like this!
