If you can figure out how to make it fit I've got a full set of MK3 a/c kit that needs a new home.

    I have done it.

Use the Mk2 AC Box that is inside the car, assuming you have an Aussie delivered GTI.

Use the Mk3 belt setup, bracketry and compressor.

You need to get the Mk2 and Mr3 hose joined together as the fittings on the end are different.

I also had to move the radiator 10mm forward to clear the compressor on that side.

    Thats it, have fun.

cheers matt, i am missing a hose for the mk2 set up and the condenser has a fitting broken off.
VW wanted 500 bucks for the hose alone!!!!! (its the one with the low preesure cut off switch)
I am going to try a local aircon fitters to see if they can help too.

You need the Mk2 condensor, but could probably use a Mk3 or SEAT one.
    Toledo is definately the same.
If you have the ends of the hoses, all is possible.

Or just man up and wind down the windows
