I read about this car about 4 years ago, is a 20vt with about 450hp and a quaife seqential gearbox like the ones I often rave about. The guy driving is about 60years old......

friend of mine has a Elfin Clubman with a 20v 4age...weird little things, but power to weight ratio is very good.....couldnt see myself buying or building one tho.hehe

That caterham alike actually has a vag 20vt, whether it is a dax rush I can't remember but that is 20V v 20V
Doesn't the Superlight have a Rover 1.8 litre K-series in it? I think the guy driving the Superlight is a member of the Club GTI forums (going on his youtube username).
I'd love the Golf though!!!

Maurice is probably closer to 70 to be fair.
I have been at Castle Combe on track and spectating when he has been there. He used to have a well mental 16V mk1 before fitting a 20valve in it. Then for comfort I guess he did a mk2.
Must be a real downer having spent 40 grand on an Exige or superlight to get battered by a std looking 1990 Golf.
