needs black trims and some form of door handles, coulour could work but looks too much like commodore ivy green

yeah...no I cannot say I'm a fan of that green either. Its kinda like KERMIT green.
I saw a VL with a body kit and a similar shade the other day on the Gold Coast and it looked kinda crap.

Looks better on a kids toy.
