That my friend is a metallic black believe it or not and the wheels are my winter RA's which I had sandblasted and powder coated for an extortionate $100. Every one has commented on them.

Yep Golf Country it is. Saw quite a few around Europe last year. They had one on display at the museum in Wolfsburg too.

mightn't that one be the one that is displayed at wolfsburg?? ( check the 'number' plate, and condition)

The one i saw was red. they prolly have heaps!

I have seen one of these in the flesh in Buderim, Queensland. It was a few years ago. Private import updated with a 2 litre engine.
