If you don't mind doing regular (minor) maintenance/check-ups the MK2 would be 10000 times easier to maintain.
    I'd choose a Digi car over a K-jet, but that's only because I've only ever owned a Digi MK2.

Btw, David, my MK2 isn't going to be daily for much longer

You asked this question in mk2 section for sure most ppl include me will suggest mk2 . The light weight of a mk2 make it so much fun to drive. I have driven both digi and k-jet, IMHO they are both good if properly maintained.

yeah i want something i can play with, im starting to lean back towards a mk2,
theres a g60 kit on ebay at the moment which is fairly cheap,
is a 16v head a straight bolt onto an 8v motor, or does it need another intake manifold, throttle body etc?

the 16v head won't bolt onto the 8v bottom end I don't believe. You're better off searching for a complete KR or ABF to bolt straight in if you want to go that route.

I'm pretty sure I still have an 8v G60 manifold lying round as I planned to turbo the mk2 back in the day.
