Mk2 Golf Convertible WANTED

Hey,

Looking for a clean Mk I Golf Convertible, Ideally 1990 - 1993 with electric hood. White with black roof preferred but any colour considered.

Prepared to do small amount of work if required.

Anyone know where I could get one???

It is in fact still a MK1 body style and is a MK1.

I have seen a couple of real cheap ones on e-bay in the last couple of days.

Look around for a good one, low K's etc.

I think I saw one with 48k on it in met grey...sweet !

Thanks for that....do you know where you saw it? I saw one with low km's on ebay but pics do not look great.

Do you have many problems here in Aus with people 'clocking' mileage on older vehicles?

It can happen, Just noticed I live near you ! HA.

Look to be safe look for digits slightly out of alignment on the mileage counter, also check service history etc, however if you go for one with low K's they should be able to prove its history.

I did see it on Ebay with 48k, There is also a few in QLD for purchase, if you need help looking at a few give me a shout.

I will need help finding a decent one I think! Appreciate your assistance and if you see any I would appreciate your help for sure.

I nearly drove to NSW to look at one but had lots of rust in bonnet, around the windscreen and would have cost too much to pass RWC etc. Still, it sold so guess they were happy to do the work.
