    Mk2 bumper alignment

My bumper doesn't seem to sit straight on the front right hand side. It seems to be bolted in solid. Do I need to use washers on the bolts to space it up a little?

    This is how it looks.

check the side clips, bolts in the frame and make sure the brackets are tight against the bumper

Thanks for the tip. The old bumper sat like this too. I'll take it off and check the bracket
    that's in the quarter panel.

I think this is not the side bracket, but where the bumper cover is attached to the metal bumper frame, needs to be adjusted. Not sure how, but I need to do this to mine too, hasn't been right since I backed over some high grass and ripped the bumper cover off.

    That's odd.

You say its solid and doesnt wobble like that? And the old one was the same?

broken clips on the inside of the plastic skin or a bent bracket.

I dont think the mk2 bumpers are adjustable, and if its solid like you say, then the plastic skin cant just be loose.

I would say its a bent bracket on the bumper iron, or youve got some wonky old damage in the chassis leg where the bumper bolts into...
