    mk2 Brake Upgrade

What's a good brake upgrade for a mk2? do mk3 brakes fit in there easy? are they much bigger?

Looking on the budget side of things.

No one even think of saying big brembo's n:

Going 5 stud would be a bit of work, let alone having to buy a new set of wheels to go with it.

Something I was thinking about lately too.

I want to keep it 4 stud but would like to know what would be best to upgrade from my 239mm fronts.

280mm sounds like the go, where to get them from and what else is needed ?

I think it's easier to go from 256mm to 280mm as they have the same hubs and if you're wanting to upgrade you need the later 256/280mm hubs. A lot of the UK mobs do conversion packages but it's obviously more expensive if you need hubs aswell.
For people like me with 256mm brakes I think it's just larger discs, pads and spacers for the caplipers.
