Well managed to get myself some discs and pads today.

Am trying to compile some parts so I can make the car like new early next year.
    All I need now is:

    Brake fuild
    Stainless brake lines
    Cam cover gasket.
    Inlet manifold gaskets
    Cam chain
    Exhaust manifold gaskets
    Stainless steel extractors
    + stainless exhaust
    Merc 190e Brass injectors
    Stroeve motorsport induction.

    Thanks Santa

Last time I checked when I was going to convert my mum's Mk2 to rear disc's, & the handbrake cables were obsolete(Genuine VW).

There's a bloke down my way that can make up ADR -7 approved braided brake hoses & for cash are cheap too! You can pick the color of the braid cover & whether you want stainless fitting's or zinc plated. Good stuff.
Had a set made for my GTI in Nov. & will get him back for my truck.

    Highly recommended

Weren't genuine VW but OEM stuff. All German.

Got them from "Imparts" in Abbotsford.
And "Welch auto parts" just around the corner.

Picked up some nice Beru Spark plugs while I was at Welch too. Appapently Bosch sparkies aren't the greatest.

Never had any problem's in 10+ years with bosch in all of my cars & the cars I service. Only had one problem with Beru. Porcelain cracked at the electrode & caused intermittent misfire when cold.

Your not wrong about that. But it's a good friend of mine in the parts dept. Get genuine part's at cost! That's why I have alot of genuine parts on my cars.

"IMPARTS" I have to comment on, are totally Asx Holes !!!

They could not even be bothered to look me up a radiator for the G60 even when I gave them the part number and that AURADIA to make them !!! They stock AURADIA but were not interested at all at helping me out. Had a big blew with the guy who claims to be the manager called Tony. The worst customer service I have experienced here.

But any way thats my experience so I would never recommend nor go there myself for no matter what part they have. I would rather get it from O/S as I have been witthout any headaches.
