You`ll need to mount the lambda in it, by getting an exhaust shop to weld a nut on it for you if no other way.
They say it fits 16v and 8v, which are different, so make sure you specify if you order it.
Hi, I now have an Digifant RV engined MK2 golf & am looking to replace the front exhaust manifold, pipe & cat with one of these...

My question is what happens to the oxygen sensor ? Should it have a location made in the new exhaust ? or is there another way ?
Im sure i'm not the 1st person who want to do this !
I would like to do this to 'free up' some of the available horses the current setup restricts.

Hey Matt
Can you recommend an exhaust shop that will do it?
Gotta do the same for my MK3 downpipe
So will a MK3 pipe fit a MK2 and do a better job also ?
Sounds like a cheaper option if so....
Thanks for the info so far folks !
Apparently it is quite common but only really give you an extra 7HP.
You still need to either mount the Mk2 Lambda further up in the pipe of the Mk3 setup, or use the Mk3 lambda with the longer wire.

Does the MK3 lambda go after the cat?
7hp is alot for an engine that has a hard time putting down 100hp haha. I now i would love an extra 7hp.
The mk3 manifold and downpipe will set you back about $100 depending on the person you get it off and i have read it improves the engine ALOT. Throw on a cam and you would have a proper gti motor.
Im not speaking from experience, i havnt had the time to fit mine, but i get this from what people on here have told me.

So can you do the same with a Golf 2? Just extend the sensor wire?
I imagine then you wouldn't have to take the downpipe off, just un do it right?
