    Lowering a seat

Is there a way to lower the standard seat further than the lowest setting or am I barking up the wrong tree? The lowest setting is still too high and uncomfortable for me to drive. ( coming from corrado seats, anything is too high!!!)

Is there a way to bypass the lower stop or something like that?

I'd love to know this also.

    I suspect it involves cutting?

My head is about 2" from the roof and I'm not a tall guy! My dad's Lexus is250 has more headroom!

If you have height adjustable seats already on the lowest setting, that's your lot. I have had tons of Golfs and at 6 foot never had problems with the seat height. Including the ones with sunroofs fitted.

The lowest seats going in a VW are Corrado's but I don't fancy your chances of getting some here.

Considering I just sold myset for these recaros, I'm willing to try anything. I do miss them though. Makes me kinda mad I sold them!

So, the point now is, can I make them Any lower by swapping the bases out or something similar or am I stuck with a set of recaros t don't really fit me?
