You should have kept the old cat and just shaken it untill all the crap fell out before putting it back on. Makes for a much less restrictive system.

Cute daughter, wait until she hits her teens and starts talking back and giving you a hard time. Trust me grasshopper, it will happen.

Thanks Bamish! Don't know if they will stay clean for long! Our roads up here are pretty dusty.

I'm going to invest in a decent Pressure cleaner and rinse them regularly.

I bought some new centre caps last night - hard buggers to find, so have to wait a couple of weeks to get them sent from Germany. Might not have them in time for the VW Nationals, but hopefully my new grill badge I ordered a week or so ago arrives.

Looks awesome man! Could suggest buying a hydrophobic wheel coating which i highly recommend for keeping them effortlessly clean! Apply it then can pretty much rinse and dirt/dust will just wash away.
Hear good things about these guys.

Back when Jesus played fullback for Jerusalem we used to clean our motorbikes then spray WD40 all over the engine. Any dirt picked up the next time we went offroad would easily wash off with the garden hose.

Just don't get any on the brakes.

Car is looking good Locky. When you clean it it should be awesome.

Thanks for the suggestion Salkow, I need something to help keep the wheels clean!

Paul, it's no show car, but scrubs up ok.
    Paint far from perfect!

I bought a cheap pressure cleaner from Homemaster on Sunday, gave it a test run on the family wagon and it did a pretty decent foam coating. One thing I discovered though is I don't have any decent extension leads since we moved house.

What's that white stuff? I've never seen that on my car.
