I reckon the tolly speedo is pretty accurate Rednut, we measured it against the van on the way up. 120kph is the same in both.

Just a few pics om the Anzac day missio to deliver Rednuts new Tolly to Newy and liberate the Jetta and bring her home.

It rained..... a lot

Big thanks to GLDGTI and Mollins for the superquick pitstop work. Mount is still holding up well.

Did some serious re-wiring on the Jetta Redut, she cold starts now without the switch. Might change the heater matrix and the dash when I have a mo. I`m hoping that will lift the curse.

Are there many of these jetta's in aus? how hard would it be to shove a vr6 into one?

There are only a few private imports in Australia of these Jettas.

I love the random element of it, people run across servos and go "what on earth is that"

You could put a VR6 in it, it would all bolt up, relatively easily. Seems a shame now that she is running great.

This one is for sale if anyone is interested.
