Jarred, I tried to find you to have a word with you and never got a chance; your car looked great, very impressive implant, that VR6 donk looked like it was at home in that engine bay, nice work mate

06' MkV JETTA TDI - Stock To Shock
likewise dave, I was a bit busy on the gate and a few other things, so I'm sure I missed more than a couple people, and a few cars! I did have a quick peak in your engine bay, and I was mighty impressed. I wish mine was that clean and tidy! (both the car, and the bay!)
Jarred looked absolutely minter mate. Job well done!!!
Now I can't wait to hear it! lol
Car looks awesome, really neat conversion. Do it yourself?
As for the LM's, wow, inspired choice. Keep 'em silver i reckon.
Good work sir!
cheers guys, yep, did most of it myself. Couldn't have done it without Tim's help though, if it's got to do with a VR6, he'll know it! Also good to just have someone to bounce ideas off! Thanks Tim!
I'm not fussed with the LM's, I'll take them off soon (getting it ready for engineering) and put em in storage for now. Not going to daily them. (well, who knows!) Super happy that I man'd up and got the LM's, that decision paid off 100%, as I love how it looks!
Nearly didn't happen though, only picked them up on thursday before the show (after about 3 months waiting), tyres fitted friday and fixed some of the nasty gutter rash, then work like crazy to get the car ready for sunday. I didn't have a working speedo or tacho till 10pm saturday night, and then it was time to fully clean it! Good times.
Car isn't 100% yet, still a few bits and bobs that need to be fixed up yet, but hopefully should have it all engineered before I go back to uni (march).
If I was picking car of show htis would have been in the thinking.....congrats man, it's magic!!!
