Theres some fantastic cars there. The silver cabby is NIIIICE. I would pay good money for a golf country too.... just WOW.
Cheers peoples! I'm hoping to go and see the other cars next week.
And possibly make an offer on the black 88 2 door GTI with sunroof.
Needs tonnes of work, but I have possibly found a place to store it here. Fingers crossed!
Cheers, Benny

you are in a paradise !!!!!!with a lot of mk2
You want to see MK2s ?
Go to South Africa,America,Canada,Mexico,or China.
Mistly Jettas though...even BRAND NEW ones in China, where it is STILL the best selling car...
Not shure I would want a Chinese built MK2!!!!!
But yeah, same here, I would say I see at least 3 a day on the road. And that just in Asaka-shi!!
By far the most popular Golf here is mk3 wagon and mk5 GTI.
The classifieds in my area have 28 mk2 GTIs up for sale.

It's good there isn't too many in Aus... Might be selfish of me, but I'm shure most MK2 owners enjoy driving a car that isn't seen everywhere every day like a falcon, commodore, or a bloody supra or silvia for that matter.

I have NEVER seen a MK2 Jetta in Australia, although I beleive there are a few running around ???
I have seen a couple of MK1 Jettas, and a few MK3 South African ones though...
