Intro from new member...one of my cars

to buyOne of my toys ,Gli 87 Wolfsburg Edition ,purchased for my son then he got my 89 4 door,then his GTI.............
Ditched terrible gutless k-jet GX motor (85bhp) and unmatched (power wise ) 5 speed for 1991 3A Audi 2 liter low K block and 89 020 box,has port matched and ported RV Dijifant head,early GTI dual branch toilet bowl manifold modded for o2 sensor,ported inlet manifold and throttle body ,TT 268 cam late ecu with TT cam chip,2'' 1/4'' into vr rear muffler (a bit loud).
Brakes are new or recond mk3 from my parts car,fully rebuilt suspention on 40mm blue Koni's and new Boge/Saches front and rear,currently on 15'' Sebrings off my Corrado but has been on RH cups since conversion,set of BBS ra's to fit.
Interior has GTI wheel ,gearknob ,Recaros's ,new carpets, mint uncracked dash,rear twin headrest conversion,gti rear boot carpet.
I choose this model due to its base spec and light weight to convert to a replica GTI has all original gti stuff but less weight.
Had a good mate that wrecked Golfs and picked the eyes out of his best parts before build.
The motor is a screamer and pulls like tractor ,power is estimated @ around 130bhp with more to come,lots of fun to drive in a basic little car like this.
Lots spent but well worth it,but as much as I don't want to its up for sale after paint and panel ,or maybe I will keep it? but have lots of people keen to buy it but can't make a decision.
