hey guys, im having trouble finding a Mk2 GTI, 3 door pref. what am i doing wrong?
does anyone have one for me or any advise on finding one???

Mate, all I can suggest is keep your eye's & ear's open.

Oz never got any 3dr GTI & there are very little private import's.

I know QSZ on here had an early small bumper red 16v one a fair while ago.

Pretty rare in Oz.
I know of one that just sold in W.A.
87 mod, small bumpers like mine, stock as a rock sold for $8900.....

People know what 3 doors are worth. Mine is $10K...if you were interested. Remember a mk2 16v is a five star evo car

You can find aussie 5 door Mk2s cheap enough.

2doors are rare as and expensive.

You can import one from the Uk without restriction, if its pre 1988, but its a bit of a mission.
