    Isnt there a search function. It seems like the same thread pops up every month or so.

    Its always the same thing.
    cam
    Air filter
    chip
    mk3 duel downpipe exhaust manifold
    2L bottom end

    will cost you under $1000 if you do it yourself and you will have a fun car.

    If you want to take it further you can add:
    Full exhaust
    38/40 porting on the head
    Dynos have shown 145-155hp at the fly....which requires a new clutch.

    You can go bigger porting on the head, port matching or whatever its called, go to 2.1L, even bigger cam and stand alone ECU but your still guna be closer to 155hp then you are 200hp. It will work out cheaper to do a vr6 conversion.
