Most people just go one big box after the beam rather than two puny ones
The hole in the exhaust and the problem happend at about the same time, thats why i thought it could be that.

I have a BMW MAF and have had it for a while, ill replace it with the OEM one and see if that helps.

    What do 02 sensors cost?

    Thanks mate.

Hotdog is the term referring to a certain style of mufflers...they look like fart-cannons but they're the middle muffler replacement, not the backbox replacement

LOL. Already done mate. Its very very raspy, i admit it took a bit of getting used to but it grew on me. The best part is the gargle/burble when engine braking or even when you rev it and let go of the pedal.

After about 3k rpm you cant hear it anymore, and on full throttle the air intake sound takes over inside the car and you cant hear anything apart from the bassy roar.

IMHO thats how the GTI was suposta sound, now if it was only a bit quicker.

    Ill post a clip.
