Tested all the electricals on my car to ready it for rego. Everything worked except the wipers.

The thread on the bolt on the left hand side is buggered so it won't tighten enough to hold the wiper arm, so the bolt moves instead of the wiper arm.

Is there anyway of fixing this or does the mechanism need to be replaced?

I was getting desperate and thinking of superglue-ing it (stupid, i know).

Any help is appreciated.
