Hey mate i drive a mk2 vr6 daily , the motor is pretty much stock. its pretty much exactly the same as driving a mk3 vr6 everyday which i also have, when you do the conversion properly into a mk2 you have all mk3 underpinnings and a mk2 shell. the car doesnt become some nose heavy monster, it becomes the same as the mk3 vr6. yes its heavier and it might not turn in as well but you wouldnt notice that in 99% of your daily driving, in a race car you would. but i love the way the vr6 pulls from down low and makes the car easy to drive. I think ppl are more surprised to hear the vr6 noise from such a small car then the sound of another turbo car. 1.8t or vr6 they are both good conversions hp is really only limited buy your wallet.
