    heart-broken

    =[

the golf failed a blue slip earlier today.. not to say that i didn't take the scenic route in coming home though. the problem pretty much rust. there's a whole heap near the hinge of the driver door, underneath the battery and along the roof line adjoining the rear quarter panel.

hmm do any of you guys have much experience/want to help me with getting rid of this rust? i think the trickiest bit is the door frame part. and also, what do i do with hail dents..?

    thanks guys, james

Geez James, that is heartbreaking. I had absolutely no idea the little beastie had that much rust in it......I knew there was a spot under the back window and a chunk under the passenger front door. My heart goes out to you, mate.
    My condolences

Go somewhere else and get a blueslip mate.
I can sort it at Campbelltown if no-one else can.
Doesnt sound structural, the tester is probably being too picky.
Call me if you want to sort it out.

If its a car the tester is unsure of they will tend to fail it, we had a magna with huge rust problems, passed every year. Go and see Golf Loon.

You can try ten testers if you like. You need no loyalty there.

Bring it to me and I`ll help you sort it.
