GTI mk2 Help.

Hey guys,

My name is Micah and im new to the forum.

i was recently inquiring about restoring my grandfathers type 3.

i have decided that i will put that project on hold and get a mk gti golf instead.

i don't particularly know a lot about them so any information about what to look for and common problems they might have would be appreciated.

i know this is not the right place to post a wanted ad but i cant access the wanted section.

i would prefer one in Melbourne but can organize transport for the right car.

low km's and good condition also preferred. price not too much of an issue tho i do have a budget.

if anyone knows of any that may be available please let me know.

If it is the red gti from eltham, I just looked at the ad and unfortunately i was too late and it has sold.
