The lights should be held on in three places - 1 top, 1 bottom on the inner side (towards the VW badge), and 1 on the bottom outer (towards the main lights)

Canadian dubs coming to VWwA soon
yeah and theres another one on the bottom inner (near the VW badge) do you know what i mean ?
just take off the grille if its too confusing
2x Caddy, 1x Ducato
There's a plate on the back of the light that should would the light from coming out the front. I would think you could only remove the driving lights with the grille off the car...

don't worry, i know exactly what you mean...
some mk2 grills only have 2 adjusting screws on each light and one main pivot.....the bottom one on the inside(closest to badge) is just a fixed pivot.
My GTI has 3 screws in each, and my mk2 Driver has 2 and a fixed pivot on the 3rd.
this little bugger isn't threaded and has no screw head.
even those with screws can be popped out so you dont bugger your set adjustment. the heads of the scres are ball shaped and fit into a ball socket set up...
so as for your 3rd mount....give it a good push from the outside face and it will pop out.....
here is the same set up n my mk2 driver.......
however the GTI has 3 screws
this one isn't a screw...pop it thru with a punch or an old screw driver, don't stab yourself!
...
sorry 'bout the blur... the bottom white part isn't threaded, nor is the bit that goes thru it....but the ball will pop out of the socket when u push it .takes a bit of force tho.....
