Make sure you use CV grease and you wont have any dramas. Dont just use normal grease.
Yep this is true.
CV Joint grease has different properties to other grease especially in the low friction, extreme temperature & pressure department & should not ever be replaced with normal grease.
Molybdenum disulfide is the main ingredient you should be looking for when choosing a good CV Joint grease.
Try Castrol LMM Grease.
Normally I just use the grease that comes with the CV Joint rebuild/boot kit's, but that's just as good.
I was also tought to apply this grease to inside the CV Boot's to keep the rubber soft which mean's the boot's last longer.
dont listen to them.
use this grease, just make sure you do it right...
What’s behind you doesn’t matter..
Isnt that pic from saturday night fever, not grease?
