    Fluid on clutch pedal

    After going for a drive yesterday I noticed my foot beginning to slip off the clutch, upon further inspection I found fluid, (only a small amount) looks be water seeping down from inside onto the pedal. Could this be a leak from my heater core???

    it could very well be the heater core, can be plugged off - replacing is abit of a job.
    Other things to check;
    Firewall grommets are all in place
    windscreen seal isn't leaking.
    IF you have a sunroof, check rails alongside - these have 4 drainholes which can block up and track down the pillars.

    I doubt it would be this, but is water pooling in the raintray area?
    Give the wet area a wipe with a (white) paper towl, may give you an idea of what type of fluid it is.

    i reckon some water dripping down where the cluch cable goes through the rain tray. Check the grommet is in place, and not wore.

    Just my two bob.

    Thanks folks.

    I will be having a look over the weekend. I did replace the clutch cable not too long ago so could be a good place to start.
