Engine rebuild/panel beater

Does anyone knows good mechanic to rebuild my mk2 Golf kr engine and panell beater/spray painter for my rust bucket.?Preferably in West/North west side of Melbourne but if u know someone good somewhere else let me know anyway. Thanx

I dont know many people that would have experience rebuilding a 16v here in Melbourne as they were never sold locally here.

Paint/panel wise plenty of shops around that restore old cars. Just find someone that has experience with older cars!

My 16v is at a panel shop in Ferntree Gully for a paint. Whats your budget?

I really don't know how to put pictures on. I'm real amateur in all this. My budget is unknown because I never done this before.It needs a lot of work on body. Pull the engine out.I'm striping body so when they get it In panel shop it's less headache for them and hopefully they charge me less money. Car is English import and it was sitting somewhere for long time so it's in very bad shape. What did u do to ur golf and how much it cost you for respray???
