awesome!!...
Decided to chuck some more photos up of the car and create a bit of a build thread/broken bit thread for the car.
Like I've said I have had the Jetta for about 4 years now but the majority of the time it has been at my parents place in storage while I've been away at uni.
It is pretty much as it came from the factory in 1991 with the addition of Thule 305 racks and the home made Thule 555 fairing. I tried to hunt out an og but the prices where starting to get pretty crazy!
No huge plans for it while i'm finishing off my masters at uni at this stage other than keep it tidy and lower it with some G60 15" steel wheels. It is also going in next week to get some rust repaired around the windshield.
I picked up some coilovers for it off a local guy a few weeks back, but turns out he sold me 6n polo onesJust waiting patiently for him to get back from his holiday so we can sort this out!
The car also came with some odd options being a South African assembled car, rallye front, two tone leather and 1/4 arch flares. I have always wanted 16v archs for it and picked up some for it.
I still need the side skirts and thin door trim if anyone knows of any for sale?? It would be awesome if some one could help me out here
Cheers,
Duncan

I need to give it a good cut and polish though and sort will sort the boot out when the rust is getting attended to.
It had a nasty GLi spolier on and has left some good marks from the 20years it has been on!
Yes,I noticed the rear spoiler is missing,as well as the Black pin stripes along the sides of the car.
Yeah, I was never a fan of that spoiler or the black strips. So I removed them both.
Here is a shot with spoiler and black strips
I feel it looks a lot cleaner with out.
Love the interior, SA Golf always has something different.

Looks good. I've always wanted a MK2 Jetta.
Lovely little Jetta you got there.
Didn't pick up on the quarter wheel arches till you mentioned it, quite different in a good way
Quick question, how did you go about removing those stipe decals down the side of the car?
