I used a heat gun and slowly peeled them off. They came off really well, which I wasn't expecting!

Yeah, odd SA thing was the 1/4 archs and fat door trims.

Any one got some MK2 big bumper side skirts that want to sell??? I am very keen to find some

I picked up some 4x100 15" steels of a mate today. A lot cheaper than buying new G60 winter wheels. Also came with good tyres though I am wanting to run a lower profile once they get widened.

Not a perfect fit with the centre caps but I think they will look ok once the wheels are powder coated silver too.

It looks like a base model Jetta which has had its hubcaps stolen off...shocking.

PLEASE...pit those lovely CLI alloys back on ASAP.

Or he could make the VW hubcaps work/fit on the rim whilst waiting for widening.
Or leave it like it is aswell.

Haha! Yes CLi alloys are back on it. Like I said I was just test fitting them to have a look.
They will be powder coated the same silver as the centre caps soon, so they should match up fine and hopefully look OEMish
