This car is perfect for highways. More fun on small roads with tight corners though. You can't go faster than 100kph in Australia anyway so there is no point to get anything faster, mate !
You can improve the ride quality though through buying good tires. I personally bought the Michelin Energy for mine (13 inch/ UK made) and road noise has since been halfed (4 new tyres of the same; 2 front and 2 at the back), fuel economy improved and so did the ride.
If of course you modified your car (i.e. lowered it) you may have spoiled the ride at the same time.
Mine is 100% original and that's how it will stay.
I personally drive around these bloody humps even if it means driving through the grass or take a longer route where there aren't any.
I'd keep that car !
