If anything id raise it a bit.
I honestly reckon raise the front a pooftenth.
still needs to have a bit of rake, but at the end of the day, you car does look very purposeful (semi motorsport), which I think is a cool look for the car.
I'd lower it to around about where the front control arms are level, and raise the rear about 10mm from that.
The control arms were level with the other shocks in. This setup is another 20-30mm lower.
When I was in the UK, I had a chat to a guy there who races mk2's.. He's was just a tad lower than this, and he said having the control arms level, barely makes any difference. Forgotten his name, but he's apparently one of the go to guys for setting up mk2's for racing.
having it this low, the car handles heaps better than ever before, and speedhumps are becoming a problem:D
I'll raise the front 5mm, and see how we go.
But loving these weitecs so far!!
raised the front 2 turns (8mm)

Don't forget, give it a week or two to settle before deciding on your 'final' heigh and get an alignment. :)
Cheers guys,
I'll raise it a little then.
Didn't know ST were made in china though.. I read somewhere they were all made under the same roof.. Obliviously not.
You can leave it low if you want. I would. Haha. Up to you. It's just a bastard with speed humps etc. I have the Caddy about 30-40mm above full drop because it rides nicer and doesn't drag on stuff.. Looks better low, but hey.. It's a daily.
In regards to ST, I'm sure the sellers try and make out that they are without actually saying it, but they're not. Early on I asked KW Aus about ST (and the possibility of selling them here). The reply was, essentially, "ST are made in china. The material and build quality isn't as good. We aren't keen on selling them."
I know Jace was happy with his STs in his Mk1. I guess it depends on whether you want to take the gamble.
Looking good mate,
I am currently looking at a set of Weitecs myself but are worried about clearance. What width and offset are your rims and how wide are your tyres? How much clearance do you have between tyre and coil over?
Cheers,
Baden
