depends how low you want to go, as to wether the borbets will rub or not, the offsets don't look too agressive though from the pics, but the best way would be to try them on.
they should look pretty good though!
Yeh, the borbets are all right, but would i need to do any modifications before they go on as in wheel spacers or something, or will they fit right on. Also will they scrub against the inside of the wheel arch/cavity because they are fatter.
Im really liking the white 2door golf in the pic with the red mk3, its got the small bumpers and panels.
Any advice or opinions please voice them on either the borbets or small bumpers, thanks.
also how much would it cost to repair my seats compared to replacing them with your set?

Try the Borbets on your car mate.
I`d try and find wheels that fit, rather than messing around with spacers and longer bolts.
The hard bit with repairing your seat will be finding the same fabric. You need another seat for parts. Find me some fabric the same and I can get it done for you.

What a mk2 would look like on the borbets:

Here are a few examples of the Borbet Type A's
A little mock-up of what my car would look like.
Sorry pic is small but net is capped!
Also the borbet type t's for sale on here look half decent also, tough decisions. What would others go for.

Those borbets should be 16x7.5 et20 which is perfect. You can prob even put 5mm spacers at the rear to make it sit flush with the guards. Im going thru the same dilemma as you trying to find nice wheels for the mk3. As for the borbet t's, if u can get him lower then go for it. But atm if u can get brand new borbet t's from germany shipped for 1300, 1100 for gutter rashed ones isnt very tempting.
Yeh, the whole idea is to try and get the wheels flush with the arches, cause at the moment the g60 arches at the front stick way out beyond the wheels and make it look odd. Yeh the Borbet T's are a it pricey for the gutter rash
