So can I get this right, the pump mounted on the tank is from the main fuel tank, there is a return to the main fuel tank and then a fuel line to the fuel rail and a return line to the surge tank from the fuel rail?
Tell me if I have made a mess of reading it.
How custom is it, as in could another be made? Looks like a great solution.
its very neat
it a surge tank:
It has;
a) supply from the main tank
b) return to the main tank
c) supply to fuel pump (bosch 044) which connects to fuel rail feed
d) return for fuel rail to surge tank
sounds right mate!So can I get this right, the pump mounted on the tank is from the main fuel tank, there is a return to the main fuel tank and then a fuel line to the fuel rail and a return line to the surge tank from the fuel rail?
A surge is a "back up" so when you fly around and go silly on corners etc it ensures the motor is always supplied with fuel and doesn't starve, which can lead to leaning and then BOOOOOM. The mk2 tank has no baffle in the tank which means there is never a reserve in case your low on gas and hit a corner hard = Fail. Dont worry its ok for the 1.8 RV this is really only needed for hardcore applications or just to be pimpWow that tank looks ace. What does it do? haha!

its 100% custom if you want one, you will need to send me your hanger from your tank and they are roughly $500 - with no pump or fittings.
