    yep thats true. I've seen many older red cars with about half a dozen different shades of red paint on them from fading in the sun

    hey, anyone know where i could find a 2 door mk2 in nsw! ive tried looking everywhere.. its all 4 door?

    im currently looking for a mk2 too, i live in sydney. All the mk2s i find are 5 doors, and want a 3 door one, GTI ..? ive tried looking everywhere.. im stuck with an audi a4, many people say i will be down grading, but i come from UK, and i know that its a beautiful car and goes hard. and would love to put one next to one of my mates car and leave them behind! haah

    Pretty hard to find mate . . . some times they pop up...but pretty rarely.
    i recon there would only be a handfull in OZ.

    You`ll never find a 2 door mate, best to import one from the UK if you really want one. You can bring a pre 1989 one easily, freight is $2500, compliance is not too much. Get a 2 door 16v in the UK and bring it

    5 door auto, but looks in good nick. Easy conversion to manual though.

    I rand up the dealer and it has $4000 on the windscreen, but it is a trade in and he will negiotiate.
