    changing clutch on a mk2 golf gti 8v

    so i got all parts but these

    Pushrod, clutch release.
    Bushing, clutch pushrod.
    Seal, clutch pushrod.

    do i need to replace these aswell when doing a new clutch?

    The pushrod itself is probably alright, pull it out and check it. Has to be worth getting the seal though, not sure if the bushing is a common failure, not heard that it is.

    Be bad to find the seal is shot and not have one to hand. Job stopper.

    Wait and get the seals as said above. Good advice from above. I bought a car when back in the uk that had 'no clutch', the pushrod had worn thru the tin center disk so replace that to! You should get one in the kit! Good luck!
