Last year there were 7 MK2's at the VW Nationals in Sydney.

Can we do better this year? You've got a month to get your car running.
ClubVW Sydney Nationals Supersprint is on Saturday 23rd May this year at Eastern Creek. No more freezing your proverbials at Wakefield Park. For more info see event website at 2015 Supersprint - Club VeeDub
Swap meet and show and shine is at Fairfield Showgrounds as per previous years on Sunday 24th May.
Entry for all of the above is available at Buy Event Tickets from Club VeeDub.
I'll be at the show and shine, even with my dented bonnet and dirt/dust from daily driving.
Who else is coming?

Hmmm, I'll be considering this one!
As long as I can get my springs sorted in time.

Nice pix of mine. I didn't see the silver one out in the carpark, it must have left early.
OK, what's the chance of getting more than 8 MK2's in one spot ???

Just got the ok from the missus to do the road trip. Then I told her was driving the Mk2......lol
Now just need to get the suspension sorted.
Paul are you still selling those coilovers?

The coilovers have been sold but you really didn't want them. Way too stiff and after a while just not nice to drive on. The Spax gas shocks I've got now are a lot better.
A road trip in the MK2 would be a piece of cake. We once did Townsville to Brisbane in a day. 18 hours straight, in a MK1. I'd never do it again in a MK1 but my MK2 would eat it up.

TBH I think the turnout for Nats is declining. 2009 was my first Nats attending with my own car and it was huge.
Entry costs, the committee not giving 2 f#cks about the watercooled and everyone leaving half way through the trophy sucks.
I dont own a Mk2 but will see how I go getting up there again this year!
I'll be working Sunday, so won't be able to make the show. But I'm up for a cruise after 3pm if anyone else is.
aka Elbo
I'll be in that. Would be good crusing with other MK2's, even if it's just to a decent coffee shop.
