i alway thought that the biggist problem with k-jet injectors is the 'o' rings just need replacing.

you say its hard to start, does the engine turn and not fire or does the starter struggle to turn the engine?

There use to be a mob in Melbourne many years ago that did full K-Jet component rebuild's.

But that's a different country to SA & also a very long time ago

Dad took me there & had his Fuel Distributor Head & Warm up regulator reco'd

This was my first ever dealing with K-Jet.

For the price of getting your injectors stripped & service (if still possible) you'd be better off just buying a new set if you know what the problem is & your getting "brand new" items instead of reco'd ones.

Or get another set out of a wrecked car thats a good runner.

    CIS injectors are approx $60US.

PS. CIS injectors can also dribble if the mixture screw isn't adjusted correctly either. eg. CO% is way to rich.

To test, you bridge out your fuel pump relay & run the pump at max & test the injectors & air flap plunger operation. Its better explained in a Bosch fuel injection book.

But if the car mixtures are OK, forget the above mention.

It is possible to reverse flush the injectors to clean the crud out of the filter screen in the injectors, but if there dripping I would say the pintle and seats are past there use by date. You can get new bosch injectors for around $50 AUD here South Africa, dunno...
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,
