Spyda - Nankang dont bring them in.
Ray - I got them in from J. I have a spare set if you're interested? You'd be looking at 230 a tyre. And yeah all that stuff is going on the Golf

Right, well I spoke to the importers before I ordered the Kuhmos and they said they were unavailable. Have you tried ordering some?

I cant imagine stretched 165s on a 7.5 would be that grippy anyway. Either way KU31s are a decent tyre. I have had them on the front of the Evo for ages and they have stood up magically and still grip incredibly.
The car is off to Joe at Golfwagen tomorrow to have a once over and install the coillys.
I am thinking of going with some Rial Mesh in 15x7 instead of the SSRs, maybe just to roll around on and save the Mesh for show only.
I'm looking forward to having it driving better - its a little sketchy at the moment>

    Test Fit

Well I test fitted the SSRs on Saturday. Joyous Fitment.

I just worked out then that I have 15, 16 and 17" BBS RS coming and some ATS Classics and Cups. There will be a biiiiiiiiiiiig sale when I work out what I'm going with.
And arent wheel bolts the cxxxiest thing that was ever invented?

Just got off the phone with the Nankang importer and he said the 185/45s and the 165/40s arent on the ground anywhere. Basically they are order only on a leadtime of at least 4 weeks.

Yeah I think they are a little different flavour to the BBS RS, but we'll see how all the others look when they arrive.
Currently waiting on the phonecall from Joe detailing what needs to be done...

    Hey mate,

The mk2 looks great, good to see you went with something a little different, it looks great!

Are those SSR MX5 fitment? Just out of curiosity, wondering if the offsets would work out good between the two.
