Update on the golf mk3 brake upgrade.
I was lucky to find a fresh vento at the wrecking yard and removed the complete front brakes Callipers, carriers, discs, hubs and even pads :) Also the 22mm MC.
The brakes cleaned up well and the discs looked quiet new, after a lick of paint they went on. The brakes pull up well, had a good drive at the track day and they worked a treat.
from 239 to 256 for $142

i was just at the Elizabeth u-pull-it and theres a Red GL golf there with all the parts required to go 256mm inc MC. Also a Ibiza GTI with 256mm brakes, should be the same...
