All sensors are fine, ecu has continuity on all pins; tested whether switch wiring is ok thru to the ecu, it is.
idle switch is clicking like a champ, sensor is doing what it should.

Timing set to factory 6deg BTDC, O2 sensor replaced, all wiring replaced to the sensor, battery new, bottom end new,

    STILL NOTHING!!!!

WTF is with this thing guys?? PIA to do all that and still get this cutting out....

Engine code for bottom end is 2E, 1990 golf gti built 08/90. If this helps anyone out there.....

Hey yea once it dies, I can turn it back over. Once I turn it back over it splutters and idles for a little bit then dies again.

Thanks for the manual link, but I already have been using it at nauseum....

Will try the relays and the main pump inside the tank to see whether its fueling properly.

    Thanks again

When it dies, what does the tacho do/show?
Just falls to zero or does it bounce around wildly?

Starts losing revs initially then dies.. And if you try and accelerate it does not have any "go".......
