I looking into upgrading my brakes sometime in the distant future and thought this thread would be good so others may see what parts are needed etc.

Now the GTI is a 9.4 inch disc and a one pot caliper.

The G60 and Gli has 10.1 and 11 inch with a 22mm master cylinder compared to a 18mm one the GTI has.

To upgrade to bigger discs and calipers you would need the steering knuckles,hubs, ball joints from any ABA 4 stud mk3. That over here being the cabrio only if im not mistaken?

So essentially you would need to steal alot from a 2.0 cabrio mk3 unless anyone knows of any other model (G60 and GLi if you want to get stuff from america and europe).

You are then free to upgrade to the girling 2 pots of a g60 or wilwoods etc etc.
